Coach Bozzo is heading into her first year as the Girls Varsity Head Volleyball Coach.  The past two years she led as Hampton Township's Girls Varsity Head Volleyball Coach.  There, the team earned two Section titles and made back-to-back WPIAL playoff appearances.  In the 2021 season, she led the team to the WPIAL Championship and State Championship matches.  She was previosly an assistant for both the Girls and Boys programs here at Shaler Area.

From the years 2011-2014 Coach Bozzo played volleyball at Shaler Area.  She was a four-year Varsity starter and captain.  She earned Team MVP, First Team All-Section, First Team All WPIAL, and All State Honors in her career.  She went on to play as a setter at Syracuse University.  She was inducted into the Shaler Area Athletic Hall of Fame in the Fall of 2021.

Coach Bozzo is now a teacher at Shaler Area Elementary School.  She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Inclusive Elementary Education at Syracuse University.  She has worked at the Elementary School since 2019.  She loves having the opportunity to work with the younger children in the district in the classroom and the high school students in the gym!

She believes that the work you put in off the court is equally as important as the work you put in on the court.  She holds her players to a higher standard of discipline, hard work, integrity, attention to detail, and character.  Coach Bozzo places a large emphasis in the physical fitness of her players and building healthy habits.

In her free time, Coach Bozzo enjoys trying new restaurants and coffee shops with her fiance, spending time with her family, babysitting her niece, and reading.
